Spre deosebire de mamografia standard, care ofer\u0103 imagini bidimensionale, tomosinteza reconstruie\u0219te s\u00e2nul \u00een straturi sub\u021biri, reduc\u00e2nd suprapunerea \u021besuturilor.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Examinarea se realizeaz\u0103 pe un aparat similar cu cel de mamografie digital\u0103, diferen\u021ba const\u00e2nd \u00een modul de achizi\u021bie \u0219i reconstruc\u021bie a imaginilor.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>De ce a fost dezvoltat\u0103 tomosinteza\u00a0<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mamografia standard poate fi limitat\u0103 de suprapunerea structurilor mamare, \u00een special \u00een cazul s\u00e2nilor den\u0219i. Aceast\u0103 suprapunere poate ascunde leziuni reale sau poate genera imagini aparent suspecte care ulterior se dovedesc benigne.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tomosinteza a fost dezvoltat\u0103 pentru a reduce aceste limit\u0103ri \u0219i pentru a cre\u0219te acurate\u021bea diagnosticului.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Care sunt avantajele tomosintezei\u00a0<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Studiile effectuate \u00een mai multe centre din lume au ar\u0103tat c\u0103 tomosinteza cre\u0219te rata de detec\u021bie a cancerului de s\u00e2n comparativ cu mamografia standard \u0219i reduce num\u0103rul de rezultate fals pozitive (cu alte cuvinte reduce num\u0103rul cazurilor \u00een care femeia este chemat\u0103 pentru examin\u0103ri suplimentare datorit\u0103 unor modific\u0103ri incerte de pe mamografia standard).<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00cen programele de screening, utilizarea tomosintezei este asociat\u0103 cu o cre\u0219tere a ratei de detec\u021bie cu aproximativ 30\u201340% \u0219i cu o sc\u0103dere a ratei de rechemare pentru investiga\u021bii suplimentare, ceea ce \u00eenseamn\u0103 mai multe cancere depistate \u0219i mai pu\u021bin\u0103 anxietate pentru femeile s\u0103n\u0103toase.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Tomosinteza \u0219i s\u00e2nul dens<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00cen cazul s\u00e2nilor den\u0219i (adic\u0103 cu mult \u021besut glandular \u0219i cu pu\u021bin sau deloc \u021besut gr\u0103sos), sensibilitatea mamografiei standard poate fi mai redus\u0103. Tomosinteza permite o evaluare mai bun\u0103 a arhitecturii interne a s\u00e2nului \u0219i poate eviden\u021bia leziuni care nu sunt clar vizibile pe imaginile bidimensionale.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De aceea, tomosinteza este util\u0103 \u00een special la femeile cu s\u00e2ni den\u0219i sau cu rezultate neconcludente la mamografia standard.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Tomosinteza \u0219i expunerea la radia\u021bii<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Doza de radia\u021bie utilizat\u0103 \u00een tomosinteza 3D este u\u0219or mai mare dec\u00e2t \u00een mamografia standard, dar r\u0103m\u00e2ne \u00een limitele de siguran\u021b\u0103 acceptate interna\u021bional.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00cen multe situa\u021bii, imaginile standard 2D pot fi ob\u021binute prin combinarea imaginilor de tomosintez\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 cre\u0219terea expunerii totale.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Este tomosinteza recomandat\u0103 tuturor femeilor?<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tomosinteza 3D nu este necesar\u0103 pentru toate femeile. Indica\u021bia se stabile\u0219te pentru fiecare caz de c\u0103tre medicul radiolog care va face exami\u0103rile, \u00een func\u021bie de v\u00e2rst\u0103, tipul de s\u00e2n, istoricul medical \u0219i rezultatele anterioare.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00cen prezent, tomosinteza este utilizat\u0103 de rutin\u0103 \u00een unele programe de screening, iar \u00een alte situa\u021bii este recomandat\u0103 selectiv, \u00een func\u021bie de contextul clinic \u0219i de disponibilitate.<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Mesaj de re\u021binut<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tomosinteza reprezint\u0103 un progres important \u00een imagistica mamar\u0103.
